1968 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE #8T03J117145. (Stock #4463.) Finished in Wimbledon White with Parchment interior, black convertible top and factory black paint stripes. This local car was ordered with the optional 302 cubic inch, 4-V V-8 engine, “Select Shift” automatic transmission with floor shifter, a limited slip differential, “SelectAire” air conditioning, AM/FM 8-track stereo radio, tinted glass and DeLuxe seat belts. Additionally, this car has 14” GT wheels, GT fog lamps, twin exhaust with 4 outlets–in fact, it has all of the factory GT equipment. . The Marti report for the car shows that it was born with the correct “J-Code” engine, the limited slip differential and the power disc brakes, all correct for a GT, as well as confirming the colors, striping, factory air conditioning, etc.--all of which the car is currently optioned. A fabulous car which the AACA has judged to be one of the best. Purchased 33 years ago, then with 75,028 miles, the car was restored over a several year period. It has been shown and has won many awards including a Senior First Place with the AACA at their Hershey, PA. annual event, with the owner driving the car another 44,656 miles during his over the past 33 years.
